QR tags for an added layer of security

QR codes provide you with a wide variety of benefits as a second add-on to go along with a traditional GPS or Bluetooth device. QR codes hold much more information than a traditional barcode, and because your information is stored with us in the cloud, a 'finder' can find out a piece of information with just a single scan. Since most smart phones have QR code readers built right in, it is incredibly convenient for everyone who uses it.

Are Bluetooth technology as good as some might say?

Bluetooth has a limited range, around 250-400 ft. for Tile, and similar for the Air Tag trackers depending on your device. This means that if you misplaced your item outside of this range, your tracker might struggle to provide an accurate location. How low is the battery life... Is the chirp loud enough one might hear its exact location... How often will the GPS ping, once a month, once a day, once an hour? If somebody finds your item or pet, you need to know right now. Not for the next ping to give you the answer.

Bluetooth trackers are ideal for short-range tracking. They excel in indoor environments, making them perfect for everyday use. GPS trackers offer broader coverage and are better suited for tracking items over longer distances.

However, if a person finds your item with a Bluetooth device or a GPS device, the finder wont know what to do with it other than leave your item behind.

We're not down playing a Bluetooth device or GPS. We're offering a 2nd alternative. When an item becomes lost, the finder scans your QR Tag, then the finder is able to get in contact with the owner immediately. Contact methods included are; Email, SMS, phone call, home address, or the Whats App.
